April 27, 2008 Opening Day of Spring Turkey Bob Engveldsen to this Gobbler 8:20 am: The bird weighs 22lbs, 13oz.  10 3/4" beard 2008..

Megan Welsh harvested this Rio Grande turkey in Kansas on 04/19/08.  Later that afternoon she called one in for dad without any coaching.   If you see Kerry in the next 6 months and wonder why he has a big smile on his face you know NOW 2008.

Kerry Welsh took this doubled beard  on 5/5/05 with his Knight 12 ga Black Powder Shotgun.  Excellent Kerry.
