My 13 year old son, Wil harvested his first turkey on April 19th. It weighed 16 lbs and had a 5 inch beard. Proud Dad Mike DeGraw 2008.

Megan Welsh harvested this Rio Grande turkey in Kansas on 04/19/08. Later that afternoon she called one in for dad without any coaching. If you see Kerry in the next 6 months and wonder why he has a big smile on his face you know NOW 2008.
Kerry Welsh took this doubled beard on 5/5/05 with his Knight 12 ga Black Powder Shotgun. It weighed 14 lbs.4oz., had a 3 3/4 inch beard and 1/4 inch spurs. We had a great hunt. Both Megan and Kerry are members of NWTF. *********************************
Here are a couple of photos taken outside of Alzeda, Wyoming on the first Thursday of May 2006 at 5:45 am. This bird was killed with a 12 gauge at 29 yards. It is a Merriams turkey. The other fellow in the picture was my guide, Ryan.
